Neck finish allows use of standard aluminum seals or Poly Crimp™ Seals. Choose from clear or amber Type I borosilicate glass. Available with graduated marking spots which can be written on with a #2 pencil.
The standard flat bottom vials can be used with Hewlett-Packard, Carlo Erba and Shimadzu. The European 20mm aluminum seal vials with rounded bottoms can be used in Perkin-Elmer, Tekmar, CTC/L.E.A.P.™ Technologies, Gertsel® and Varian.

The quality of a crimp seal is strongly dependent on the right calibration of the crimping tool used to apply the closure to the vial. A too tight or too loose crimp will impair the quality of the seal. To maintain good results, make sure to re-calibrate your crimping tool regularly and check the quality of the seal every time you crimp.
