SPIRIT TM Syringe Filters. Spirit Syringe Filters are used for the filtration of liquid samples that contain insoluble impurities. Spirit Syringe Filters are made from high quality materials with very low levels of extractables. The housing material is high quality polypropylene, chemically resistant to a wide range of solutes and solvents.
Easyfil™ syringe filters are well packed, with competitive price filters. The membranes range from Nylon, CA, MCE, PES, PTFE, PVDF, GF, RC to PP, which are supplied in 13mm and 25mm no virgin medical PP housings. Why To use a syringe filter? How to select your sample preparation device?
Jan 25, 2022 · These filters are available in two pore sizes – 0.22 and 0.45µm, and are available in three different syringe filter sizes – 13, 25 and 33mm . The PP filters with a 0.22µm pore size have a water flow of 23ml/min/cm 2 and a bubble point of 340kPa. The 0.45µm pore size filters have a water flow of 46ml/min/cm 2 and a bubble point of 220kPa. These are also available with a glass microfibre pre-filter which is available in both pore sizes.
Oct 02, 2019 · Filter Diameter: Syringe filter diameter depends upon the volume of the sample to be filtered. If the volume of the aqueous sample is Higher, the filter should be with a larger diameter. Syringe filters are available in a variety of diameters including 4mm, 13mm, 17mm, 20mm, 25mm, 30mm, and 33mm. For smaller volume samples (approximately 1 ml), filters with 4mm diameter are used, while for larger volumes (approximately 100 ml), filters with 30mm diameter are used.
Apr 15, 2019 · How to Select Syringe Filters for Aqueous Solutions? The most popular choice for filtering aqueous solutions used in the lab are hydrophilic syringe filters. And the key factors we consider are filter connection, filter material, pore size, the diameter of the filter, and sterility.
To choose the appropriate syringe filter for your application, you need to determine the amount of filtration required or the pore size needed. 0.2 ∝m pore size is used for removing fine particles from solutions and sterile venting
Syringe filters are single-use filtration devices that are made up of a membrane, or combination of membranes, placed inside molded housing. The connections on the device are commonly Luer lock or Luer slip and enable a quick connection to syringes, that are used to pass the liquid sample through the filter.
Membrane Solutions Sterile PES Syringe Filters 0.22um Pore Size, 33mm Membrane Diameter . MS sterile syringe filters are made with a wide variety of membrane filters with polypropylene (PP) housing, using the most advanced methods and design features. The most commonly types membrane for sterile syringe filters are PES and PES with GF pre-filter.
High Particulate Loads PP,GF, Filter with pre-filter Aggressive or Pure Organic Solvents Hydrophobic PTFE, PVDF Step2: choose the suitable diameter Volume of samples Recommend <10ml 13mm <100ml 25mm Step 3: Choose the suitable pore size based on the nature of your sample or dirty environmental sample is filtered to ensure the highest syringe
Polypropylene syringe filters are a very cost effective alternative membrane filter option with a long list of chemical resistances such as acids, bases, alcohols and esters. In addition, these wheel filters are durable and of high quality with consistancy across manufacturing lots. This is standard across all of our lure lock syringe filter lines.
STERILE SYRINGE FILTERS – sterile syringe filters are made with PES membrane filters with polypropylene (PP) housing, using the most advanced methods and design features. The PES syringe filters with GF pre-filter has excellent dirt-holding capacity, which makes a syringe filter a much larger throughput for some “hard to filter” sample.
MS ® Syringe filters are purpose-built with features designed to bring the highest levels of performance and purity to your research. We incorporate a variety of membranes to offer separation and purification solutions for the majority of your laboratory needs. PP disposable filter devices are designed for use with aqueous or organic solutions
Syringe Filter, PVDF, 0.45µm, 30mm Diameter. Denville. polypropylene which is chemically resistant to a wide range of solutes and solvents. Denville Scientific Syringe Filters are constructed so that the sample must pass through the membrane, not leak around it. Denville Syringe Filters are easy to use.
Syringe filters and syringes are used to filter chemically turbid solution samples. Most commonly used for chemical HPLC-MS / GC-MS analysis of liquid and gas dust removal, sterilization filtration, biological sample preparation, tissue culture media, microbial media, Decontamination filtration of buffer solutions, etc.
Syringe Filters. Syringe filters are single-use, membrane-based devices used for the removal of particulate impurities from liquid and gas samples prior to analysis by methods such as HPLC, ion chromatography, gas chromatography, ICP, and dissolution testing. Proper filtration of samples improves the quality and consistency of analytical
